HOW TO BREAK OUT OF TERRITORIAL CONFINEMENT. JOHN BROWN

HOW DO WE BREAKOUT OF TERRITORIAL CONFINEMENT?

1. Desire – A yearning or a longing for something. When your desire is God’s desire and will you have answered prayer.

• Job 14:15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

• Psalm 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

• Proverbs 10:24  The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. WHY?

• Proverbs 13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.

• Proverbs 11:23 The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

• Mark 11:24   Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

• Psalm 81:10  I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Success is not a gift, it’s a choice! Frederick K. C. Price said, "We have not succeeded by accident." Nobody will consider an accident as a success. When your choice is made, the grace and strength for accomplishment is imparted. When man decided to build a tower that will get to heaven in

Genesis 11, even God agreed that nothing could stop them.
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Genesis 11:6

Proverbs 21:25
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

2. RESPONSIBILITY

Joshua 17:15
And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

“What will happen will happen is the philosophy of the lazy”. What you make happen is what happens. Personal responsibility for anything wrong or good is very important to anyone breaking out of Territorial confinement.
Jabez did not blame his circumstances on his surroundings

1 Chron. 4:9-10
And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. [10] And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Jewish writers indicate that he was an eminent doctor in law. He was so great a city was named after him

1 Chron. 2:55
And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

3. WARFARE

Joshua 17:18  But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.

The people of Isreal broke out of confinement by fighting three levels of war were fought.

Psalm 135:7-12 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries. [8] Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast. [9] Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants. [10] Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings; [11] Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan: [12] And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

• War against the self – Die to yourself.

• War against Celestial power – the plagues of Moses are the proves
Ephes. 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

• War against Terrestrial Systems – Human systems that constitute a hindrance to our breakthroughs.

4. WORK

• Thou shall cut down

Joshua 17:18   But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.

• Prepare thy work Proverbs 24:27   Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.

• Indeed, there is no substitute for hard work, if you want to succeed in life.

• Diligence or hard work is a major ingredient for success in life.

• There is prophet in all labour Proverbs 14:23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.

• No work no food For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:10

• A gallup poll result in America came up with a statistics that revealed that 80 per cent of the children of successful people in America do not succeed. This is because they are not exposed to the major ingredient that makes for success — hard work. Everything is done for them, they don’t know how to do anything, so they end up not being able to keep a thing.

• Every destiny decays in the hands of laziness, idleness and slothfulness.

• Just as success is as a result of diligence, failure comes through slothfulness Ecclesiastes 10:18 By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.

• Success is impossible until your hands are set to work. Until your hands become working hands, your life will not become a working life, for work is what determines your worth in life. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

• Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

• Isaiah 3:10  Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

There is plenty in God’s destiny for you, but the work you do with your hands is the avenue through which it will come. Even though God had promised to make Abraham great, we saw Abraham getting busy with rearing cattle, even at an advanced age of 75. He knew that the only way God would bless him was through the works of his hands.

Genesis 13:2 says this of him, "And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold." Solomon said:

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 10:4

When your hands are slack, poverty is sure to come your way. If you want to be successful in life, then you must deal with strong hands.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbs 13:4

Failure becomes your heritage only when your hands refuse to work. It takes diligence to become successful.

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Proverbs 22:29

Diligent in his business, not diligent in prayers. Your disobedience to His command to work is what is making you spend countless and needless hours in laborious prayers. A student who would not study for his exams, but spends hours praying will still end up a failure.
